Any questions? Michael Dimopoulos Managing director of Recruitment Academy and Recruit Me Now

I'm on a great salary but no longer interested in my job. How can I find work I'm more passionate about without making too much of a financial sacrifice?

It's easy to measure success by our salaries and material possessions but often though we thought we would feel successful and content, we can be leftfeeling empty and confused. The price you pay for climbing the corporate ladder can outweigh thehappiness that comes with realising a truer calling.

If you're questioning your situation, now is a good time to ask yourself: If I could choose to do anything, what would it be?

All the successful people I know have been willing to take a leap of faith, even if they were afraid; they knew that if they didn't act, the opportunity would pass them by. They trusted their intuition and simply went for it.

Life is too short to wake up each morning to a day that doesn't fire you up.

There is always a sacrifice to be made in finding your true passion, but when you make the choice, you will see the clouds part.

So many people aren't happy doing what they're doing. They're caught in a rut, fearing change, failure, financial commitments, or taking responsibility for why their life is exactly the same as it's always been.

Taking positive action can trigger all kinds of changes to carry you to success. Enrol in that course, seek the necessary training, call the travel agent, start writing that book, save for the deposit on a home, join the health club, sign up for those piano lessons, or write that proposal. Nothing happens until you take action.
